Bluebonnet Pasture

Several years ago at Paint the Town Plein Air Event in Marble Falls, I painted this scene on location in the Texas Hill Country.  I wasn't totally happy with the painting that I completed on location, but I kept it to study it, as a way to improve.  Recently, I found the old plein air painting and decided use it as a reference to repaint the scene bigger and with brighter color and bolder brushwork.
