Downstream (Fish Creek)

Fish Creek Falls was behind me as I painted, looking downstream.  The water in the creek and over the falls was lower than normal because of drought.  I took advantage of this admittedly sad situation by climbing down onto some rocks in the river bed to set up my easel, and enjoy a view closer to the water level.  Perhaps if I go back next year, the blessing of higher water will cover that spot.
