Rio Grande del Norte en Pilar

Painted from a photograph and a "tiny color study" done on site.   I visitied Pilar, NM in October of 2019 and my companions as I drove around collecting color studies were the fishermen (and fisherwomen) who love to catch trout for dinner.  Fishing can be as frustrating and as satisfying as plein air painting, I would think.
