Welcome.

I am primarily a landscape painter in oils.  I am smitten with the smell and the texture of oil paint.  Since I started painting, I've never gotten over the excitement of stepping back from the painting to see that the shapes and colors read as they should to convey my subject correctly, albeit "loosely."  I live in the Texas Hill Country, and I paint with friends from the Highland Arts Guild, Marble Falls, Texas, and the Outdoor Painters Society.  I also enjoy attending life drawing sessions when I can.  I am committed to drawing and painting in oil, and I am exploring gouache, casein and watercolor.  I enjoy the fellowship of other artists.
